Muscat – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik presided over a meeting with the Chairman and members of the State Council’s Bureau at Al Barakah Palace, where he lauded the council’s significant contributions to Oman’s comprehensive development. During the audience, His Majesty the Sultan highlighted the essential cooperation between the State Council and various government institutions, noting its vital role in elevating the Sultanate’s economic, social, and developmental trajectories.
Emphasising a unified national approach, His Majesty underlined that addressing national issues is a shared responsibility across all state apparatuses. He called for the continued development of public policies and the resolution of challenges to safeguard the interests of the nation and its citizens. To ensure these efforts yield tangible results, the Sultan directed the establishment of effective executive mechanisms to transform proposals into practical solutions that support societal stability and sustainable growth.
