Minnesota Timberwolves rookie Rocco Zikarsky registered another double-double in the G League on Monday, helping the Iowa Wolves to a home win over the Rio Grande Valley Vipers.

Zikarsky recorded his sixth double-double with 22 points, 15 rebounds, one assist, one steal and one blocked shot in the 136-129 victory at the Casey's Center. He shot 9-of-13 from the field and finished a team-high plus-24 in 28 minutes, 34 seconds of action.

The 7-footer worked mostly in the paint, taking advantage of his size over the Vipers' front court. He was a tremendous lob threat for his teammates, cleaning up the glass and working from the dunker spot often throughout his time on the court.

Zikarsky is averaging 13.5 points, 7.7 rebounds and 2.1 blocks on 53.7% shooting from the field in 26 games with Iowa. He is seventh in blocks and 13th in rebounding among players with at least 20 appearances in the G League this season.

The 45th pick in the 2025 NBA draft was highly touted out of Australia because of his size, mobility and rim protection, boasting a 7-foot, 6-inch wingspan. He views the G League as a tremendous chance to log valuable minutes against high-level competition.

Zikarsky, signed to a two-way contract, has spent the season primarily with Iowa as part of his development plan, arriving from the NBL. The reps have enabled him to work on his overall skill set and abilities in his first year in the United States.
