La Liga giants Barcelona have been afforded a boost on the personnel front, ahead of their upcoming meeting with Copenhagen.
This comes amid confirmation of Ferran Torres having secured a return to fitness.
Frontman Ferran was for his part forced to sit out both of Barcelona’s last two fixtures in all competitions, back-to-back victories over Slavia Praha and Real Oviedo.
As much came owing to a minor hamstring injury suffered in the Blaugrana’s defeat at the hands of Real Sociedad.
The expectation was that the Spanish international would also be unavailable to play his part in Barca’s final league phase outing in the Champions League, against Copenhagen on Wednesday night.
It therefore came as a surprise when Ferran was spotted back in group training with his teammates on Tuesday.
Drawn on the attacker’s status for tomorrow evening during his pre-match press conference, Hansi Flick then went on to confirm:
“Ferran trained with us and he is ready for tomorrow.”
