Muscat – The sporting landscape in Oman is set for a historic milestone this month as the Fitbox Fight Championship (FFC) 5.0 prepares to take centre stage. Scheduled for Friday, January 30, the event will be held at the Oman Automobile Association as a highlight of the ongoing Muscat Nights festival. This edition marks a significant evolution for the series, being touted as the first Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) event in Oman to feature professional cage fighting and international competitors.
Organised by FITBOX Muscat, the championship aims to further cement the Sultanate’s growing reputation as a hub for international combat sports. Spectators can expect an action-packed evening featuring a diverse range of disciplines, including boxing, kickboxing, and Muay Thai, showcased by both local athletes and regional stars. The arena is prepared to host a high-energy atmosphere with championship-level bouts designed to provide an unforgettable live experience.
Doors at the Oman Automobile Association are scheduled to open at 5:00 PM, with the main card of fights beginning at 6:00 PM. Safety remains a top priority for the organisers, with strict medical protocols, experienced referees, and on-site medical personnel in place to protect the athletes.
