Muscat – Civil Aviation Authority’s National Multi-Hazard Early Warning Centre has released its latest radar imagery for Wednesday. A significant presence of moisture and cloud formations stretching across several northern and coastal governorates.
Radar observations reveal scattered light rain and drizzle impacting areas near Muscat, Barka, and the coastal stretches toward Ras Al Hadd. Further inland, the imagery shows cloud cover extending over Rustaq, Nizwa, and Ibra, while southern coastal areas near Duqm and Masirah are also experiencing pockets of atmospheric instability. Although most current readings remain within the lower reflectivity ranges, authorities continue to monitor the progression of these weather systems to ensure public safety and provide timely updates on potential rainfall intensification throughout the day.
