H M Sultan Haitham receives written message from Tanzanian President

Muscat – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received a written message on Tuesday from President Samia Suluhu Hassan of the United Republic of Tanzania dealing with the bilateral relations between the two countries.

The message was delivered when His Majesty gave an audience at Al Barakah Palace to Mahmoud Thabit Kombo, Minister of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation of Tanzania.

During the audience, the minister conveyed the greetings of the Tanzanian President and her best wishes of good health and success to His Majesty. He also conveyed the president’s wishes of further progress and prosperity to the Omani people.

His Majesty, in turn, asked the guest to convey his greetings and best wishes of happiness and success to President Samia. He also wished the Tanzanian people continued development and growth.

The meeting was attended by Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, and Dr Hamad bin Said al Aufi, Head of the Private Office. From the Tanzanian side, attendees included Maulidah Hassan, Advisor to the President, and Abdullah Abas Kilima, Tanzanian Ambassador to Oman.
