Tesco Mobile has just made it a lot easier to stay in touch – and in control of what you spend.
Whether you’re texting family about a last-minute gift request from a youngster, or calling Gran to arrange when you’ll arrive, Tesco Mobile’s new Pay as you go Essentials makes it easy and affordable to keep in touch through the festive season and into the New Year.
The flexible top-up tariff means that families can stay in touch with bundles of calls, texts and data from as little as £5 a month (minimum £10 top-up at activation).
Linking a Clubcard account to the new Essentials tariffs means that every pound you top up gets you valuable Clubcard points.

How to get started
Moving to Essentials (or buying a new bundle) could not be simpler, with everything easy to adjust via the Tesco Mobile app.
If you want to be rewarded for every pound you spend, you can link your Clubcard to your Essentials account by texting the word CLUBCARD to 28578, free from your Tesco Mobile phone.
For a limited time, Tesco Mobile customers can collect 500 Clubcard points every time they add a £15 Pay as you go Essentials bundle when they link their Clubcard within the first 28 days of adding the bundle*. Clubcard points will be automatically issued within 30 days.
The right bundle for you
So what bundle is right for you? It’s easy to take control over how much you are spending with Essentials.
There are five bundles to choose from, and every bundle from £10 a month up also include unlimited calls and texts
Choosing a bundle is simple via the Tesco Mobile app – once you’re signed up to a bundle, your minutes, texts and data allowances will automatically refresh every 30 days from your available top-up balance.
You can change and cancel at any time
Don’t fancy using a bundle? You can continue to use top-up balance for calls, texts and data at the standard rate: 25p per minute, 10p per text, 10p per MB.
One simple app
Essentials is now the only pay as you go tariff and it replaces all existing Tesco Mobile tariffs including Rocket Pack, Triple Credit and Lite tariffs.
You can manage your bundle simply via the Tesco Mobile app (older Tesco Mobile pay as you go apps will no longer work).
The Tesco Mobile app also allows you to check usage, top-up, or change your auto-renew settings.
Hear clearly this Christmas
For the first time, Tesco Mobile Essentials customers will be able to use their 4G connection to make and receive calls over the mobile network. And you can still use data while you call.
