Emmerdale favourite Beth Cordingly has wrapped filming as Ruby Miligan for 2025, and marked the occasion with a social media post.
It’s been a busy year in the village for Ruby, who exposed the truth about her childhood abuse at the hands of her father at the beginning of the year.
In devastating scenes, she confessed to husband Caleb Miligan (William Ash) that daughter Steph (Georgia Jay) was dad Anthony’s, leaving him heartbroken.
Things took a further turn when Anthony was found dead, and it was later revealed that Ruby had been his killer.
Now, actress Beth has finished filming for the year, and has taken to Instagram to thank fans for their support.
Alongside a video montage from the Emmerdale Christmas party, Beth wrote: ‘THAT’S A WRAP ON EMMERDALE 2025. IT’S CHRISTMAS !!!’
She continued: ‘Thank you for all your support, we wouldn’t be here without you. Have a lovely Christmas and a Happy new Year and we’ll be back working hard with new stories next year.’
She finished by reminding fans to tune in to the ITV soap on Christmas Day for more drama.
Beth’s character Ruby has clearly had an impact on fans, who rushed to the comments to wish her well.
‘Love you as Ruby. Brilliant acting. What a year you’ve given us. Merry Christmas to you. And all good wished for 2026,’ one wrote.
‘Beth, you’ve been absolutely incredible this year – adore Ruby, what a character! Hope emmerdale are lucky enough to keep you for many years to come, you’re brilliant! Have a lovely Christmas, much love to you,’ another said, while a third added: ‘Merry Christmas Beth! So excited to see what is for Caleb and Ruby next year! Keep being awesome!’
The drama is set to continue in the Dales over Christmas and New Year, with villagers facing a threat to life.
It is not yet known who exactly is in danger, but the stakes are certainly high as 2025 turns to 2026.
Is Ruby one of the characters set to be in danger? Considering Beth has only just finished filming, it looks as though Ruby is still set to appear at least a few weeks into 2026, but you never know in soap!
