Soham murderer Ian Huntley has been stripped of his privileges behind bars after jailers found a secret stash of ‘unauthorised items’ in his cell.
The 51-year-old is currently being held at the high-security HMP Frankland where he is serving a life sentence for the 2002 murders of 10-year-old best friends Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman.
Huntley is said to have admitted breaching the rules over discipline and hoarding of contraband in relation to a haul of DVDs, magazines and USB sticks.
He has also been moved to a landing full of pension-age prisoners, according to prison sources.
One told The Sun Huntley was ‘absolutely devastated’ at losing his gadgets and has been ‘kicking off’ over the punishment.

‘He loved his Xbox and played it all the time,’ they told the paper.
‘He’s quite arrogant and has been acting like the big ‘I am’ for ages so this will take him down a peg or two.’
The latest punishment comes a year after he was reported to have had a red sports top taken away over complaints it looked too similar to a Manchester United shirt.
The last photograph taken of Holly and Jessica shows them shows them standing with their arms around each other in matching United tops.
Fellow lags were said to have been in uproar at what they took as a brazen taunt by the double child killer.
Reports stated guards also seized a framed photo of Huntley with his ex-girlfriend Maxine Carr, who was jailed alongside him at the Old Bailey for giving him a false alibi.
Carr now lives under an assumed name as a result of a rare ‘Mary Bell’ anonymity order imposed upon her release from prison.
Huntley was jailed for life with a minimum term of 40 years meaning he will not be eligible for parole until 2042 at the earliest.
The judge, Mr Justice Moses, said the sentence – then one of the longest tariffs ever handed down – ‘offers little or no hope of the defendant’s eventual release’.
Dubbed ‘Monster Mansion’, HMP Frankland houses some of Britain’s most dangerous prisoners, including serial killer Levi Bellfield, WayneCouzens, and Michael Adebolajo.
