Nizwa – The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism (MHT) has issued an official safety warning regarding zip lining activities at the Tanouf Area in Nizwa.
The Ministry confirmed that this activity is currently unlicensed and strictly prohibited due to the significant risks it poses to public safety. Officials noted that the specific geological formations of the site make such practices highly dangerous for practitioners. The Ministry further emphasised that all adventure tourism activities must be conducted exclusively through licensed and approved providers to ensure safety protocols are met. Any individuals or entities found violating these regulations will be held legally accountable under the current administrative systems.
