Inside Cruz Beckham’s raucous 21st birthday celebrations with emotional family speech

Over the weekend, David Beckham and Victoria Beckham hosted a lavish early 21st celebration for their youngest son, Cruz Beckham, at The MAINE Mayfair.

The family transformed the Mayfair hotspot into a black-tie Beatles-inspired extravaganza.

Cruz, who officially turns 21 on February 20, chose a Grande Beatles Ball theme in tribute to his love of The Beatles.

A vast sparkling chandelier hung in the centre of the room as guests arrived in tuxedos and floor-length gowns.

The menu reflected the birthday boy’s tastes rather than traditional fine dining.

According to The DailyMail, guests were offered chicken wings and ribs to start, followed by burgers or fish tacos for the main course, before donuts were served for dessert.

A personalised cocktail list kept drinks flowing as the party gathered pace and carried on into the early hours.

Taking to the stage with his new band, Cruz Beckham And The Beakers, he performed for friends and family. Later, a Beatles tribute act had the room on its feet.

The most emotional moment of the evening came when Victoria, his sister Harper, 14, and Jackie stepped up to deliver a heartfelt speech.

Standing beside his father, Cruz was visibly overcome as he listened, breaking down in tears at the tribute from the women closest to him.

Earlier in the evening, the Beckhams posed proudly for photographs. Victoria stunned in a navy halterneck gown while David cut a sharp figure in a coordinated suit.

Cruz wore an oversized blue suit designed by his mother, paired with a yellow patterned tie and red braces, leaning into the playful spirit of the theme. Jackie opted for a black strapless dress, Harper chose a simple black number, and Romeo attended in a white shirt and bow tie alongside on-off girlfriend Kim Turnbull.

Cruz was pictured chatting with his father from the side of the room and posing with his grandfather Tony Adams. Victoria later shared images of Cruz with her parents, as well as David’s mum Sandra and his aunt Joanne, highlighting the multi-generational turnout.

Victoria captioned her gallery of images from the night, which took over the entire venue, ‘Celebrating Cruz early!! We love you so much!!!’

Jackie also shared her own tribute, writing, ‘the most special early birthday celebrations for our favorite person. i love every one of u so much and what an unbelievably beautiful night we had.’

The party came as the drama surrounding Brooklyn Beckham’s bombshell claims about his family continues to unfold.

After a year of rumours that the 26-year-old eldest son of the couple had distanced himself from his family due to a fallout, he dropped a jaw-dropping 800-word statement on social media.

The bombshell post claimed he’d ‘been controlled’ by his parents ‘for most of his life’, also claiming they’d tried to ‘ruin’ his relationship with wife Nicola Peltz, 31.

‘My wife and I do not want a life shaped by image, press or manipulation. All we want [is] peace, privacy, and happiness for us and our future family,’ he concluded the statement.

It’s clear that as the fallout continues, the other members of the Beckham family are committed to showing a united front with events like Cruz’s party.
