Katie Price has defended her new husband, Lee Andrews, after claims he used AI to fake his company and lied about other careers.
The former glamour model, 47, stunned us all as she randomly announced her engagement, and just two days later, her wedding to her new man.
The surprise nuptials came after a week-long romance with businessman Andrews, who was her ninth engagement in total.
He claims to be the CEO of Aura Group and an ‘investor in SpaceX Hybrid Fitness’ and has shared snaps with Elon Musk and of Kim Kardashian signing some of his company’s merchandise.
However, according to The Daily Mail, his business is a complete farce.
Price has now defended Andrews, sharing on her story: ‘Despite all the noise that’s going on, I miss you lee. I love you unconditionally.’
She then kissed her wedding ring and added ‘and yeah, it’s on the right hand’ after speculation the wedding was also staged.
In another snap, reposted by Price, he wrote: ‘We know the truth and that’s what matters.’
Taking to his own Instagram stories, he said: ‘This is married life, bit of confusion about tattoos and rings. Rings are all on the right hands.
‘Anyway, love to everyone, massive love more love than the world to Katie and I’ll see you soon. We had the most wonderful wedding, we are married, it is official.’
He said he is ‘the happiest man in the world’, then proceeded to post pictures of his passport and other certificates to prove he has a doctorate.
Andrews also shared a picture of his team with a giant cheque, writing: ‘Aura team celebrating. Not AI.’
This came after claims that his products — and the Kim K video — appear to be AI-generated, and there’s no information on the website for his company.
In one photo, he posed with Musk, seemingly at a convention, showing off a car with rotary blades built for flight.
‘Aura concept Future Flight Urban Travel. Watch this gamble Pay off !!’ he wrote in the caption on Instagram.
The link in Andrews’ profile takes you to Aura Vehicles’ website, which only features a contact form and the promise that something is ‘launching soon’.
In 2021, a concept vehicle for a sustainable car, also called Aura, was shared by a British studio called Astheimer Design.
However, Metro understands Andrews, who lives in Dubai, has had nothing to do with that company or the concept car.
Price’s husband claims Aura has ‘already reached a Market Cap of $1.3Bn’, which refers to the value of a publicly-traded company.
The privately held company has no listing on the New York or London stock exchanges, with him also claiming he has ‘two successful companies already listed’.
Alongside his businesses, Andrews is also claiming to be the director of philanthropy at the King’s Trust, formerly the Prince’s Trust.
The charity told Metro that the role is not held by Lee Andrews, adding that there were no volunteers with this title and no record of a volunteer called Lee Andrews.
A seemingly very busy man, Andrews also has himself listed as a Member of the Board of Advisors to the Labour Party, and has done since 2015.
However, a Labour source confirmed to Metro: ‘We don’t have a ‘Board of Advisors’ and this individual doesn’t work with us.’
Price and Andrews met not long after the TV personality announced her split from partner of two years JJ Slater.
Days after teasing her new beau, pictures emerged of the pair hand-in-hand as the Dubai ceremony was officiated, with the new couple also locking lips in another.
True to her own style, Price wore a skin-tight white dress with an under-boob cut out while her new husband wore a light linen suit.
How they met is a little unclear but the former I’m A Celeb star compared her Andrews to movie star Richard Gere, saying he ‘swept her’ off her feet’ before adding: ‘Manifesting does work’.
While it’s unknown how her family feels, his mum Trisha – a clairvoyant from Nottingham – has thrown her support behind the pairing.
She previously declared, ‘If he is happy, I am happy’ and said she’s always felt ‘very neutral’ about Price before they eloped.
