EastEnders stars Lacey Turner and Rob Kazinsky have reunited and omg, our hearts.
Lacey and Rob are best known for playing siblings Stacey and Sean Slater in the BBC One soap. Throughout the years they lived in Walford together, the duo went through an awful lot. Sometimes they’d see eye to eye, sometimes they’d clash, and the one person who would attempt to deal with it all was their mum Jean Slater (Gillian Wright).
Rob hasn’t played Sean permanently since 2009. He has, however, made a handful of brief returns between the years of 2019 and 2022.
Despite Rob no longer being on the show, he remains a close friend to Lacey.
With the star currently taking a break from the soap, she decided to meet up with Rob and have a catch up with her pal.
Over on Rob’s Instagram, he shared a selfie with Lacey that’s left fans full of nostalgia.
He wrote alongside: ‘Love from Brazil (seriously who’s idea was that?). Like time never passes with the best of the best.’
Rob’s note about Brazil references Stacey’s exit storyline, which saw her head to Brazil to live with Sean.
The post itself saw plenty of EastEnders fans share their love for Lacey and Rob in the comments.
This Instagram user said: ‘Can we please bring Stacey & Sean back together’.
We’re here for it, just saying.
Another wrote: ‘Amazing please come back to EastEnders we need Sean back’.

Perfectly summed up!
In 2019, Rob reprised his role as Sean for a storyline that delved into his mental health struggles.
The narrative saw Sean contemplate ending his life, but he was ultimately saved by his mum.
In 2021, he headed back to Albert Square to confront Stacey after learning that she had married a prison inmate called Eve Unwin (Heather Peace).
A year later, Sean featured on a video call to Jean, following Stacey’s concerns that she was experiencing a bipolar episode.
After Stacey’s departure from Walford, Lacey reassured audience members that she won’t be away from the show for very long.
In a video on YouTube, Lacey can be seen tearfully finishing filming her final scenes to a rapturous round of applause from cast and crew, before being gifted a bouquet of flowers.
As a crew member presented her with the gift, she said: ‘I’ll keep this short because I know you hate these things, thank you so much for everything, you’ve been brilliant, everyone loves you here, we’ll miss you, please come back to us.’
Bashful Lacey tearfully replied: ‘I’ll be back in a minute!’. As she thanked the audience that turned out to bid her goodbye, she said: ‘I am coming back, I won’t be long. I can’t do speeches, but thank you all, I love you very much and it’s a very special place to work.’
