A relationship hanging on by a thread, a baby scare, a court plea and the appetite for revenge after losing a loved one. Yup, it’s another week in Coronation Street!
With her true colours revealed and being forced to face up to her (many, many) crimes, Becky Swain (Amy Cudden) threatens to drag ex-wife Lisa (Vicky Myers) down with her in a final act of cruelty. Desperate, Lisa’s left with a terrible worry and has a big request for Carla Connor (Alison King).
Elsewhere, Megan Walsh (Beth Nixon) is left red-faced when Bertie Osbourne (Rufus Morgan-Smith) pulls something out of her bag that she certainly didn’t want anybody else to see.
Meanwhile, Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) can’t sleep ahead of her impending court date and continues to be manipulated by her brother, Carl (Jonathan Howard), while Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) struggles to contain her rage in the aftermath of Billy Mayhew’s (Daniel Brocklebank) death.

Monday, January 12
Carla can barely bring herself to look at her fiancée, Lisa after learning that she slept with her ex-wife, Becky, while Carla was locked up in a cupboard by said ex-wife, and it looks as though #swarla may be over for good.
With Becky’s very real threat ringing in her ears, Lisa is terrified that she’ll end up in the clink alongside her sociopathic ex and begs Carla to promise that she’ll look after Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin) should she go down.
While Carla of course agrees, Betsy herself watches from the stairs as Lisa struggles to maintain her composure. Is there any way back for the ladies? And if there is, will their next date be in a prison visiting room?
Wednesday, January 14
As the Barlows celebrate Bertie’s birthday, Daniel Osbourne’s (Rob Mallard) jaw hits the floor as, after being asked to grab some candles from Alya Nazir (Sair Khan), Bertie instead pulls a pregnancy test from Megan’s.
As the room falls into awkward silence as Megan quickly tries to deflect, though Daniel’s evident panic is enough to wound her, as she makes a jab before departing the party.

Unable to sleep, Debbie and Carl find themselves discussing her upcoming court date, where she discloses that both Ronnie Bailey (Vinta Morgan) and Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) believe she should plead not guilty.
Carl, the actual driver who caused the carnage and has convinced his dementia-suffering sister that she was behind the wheel in a bid to have her take the fall, insists that a guilty plea is the best way to go.
A usually cold and calculating Carl cracks in the face of his sisters torment, leading her to comfort him. Will he really let his sister go through this just to save his own skin?
Friday, January 16
A despondent Summer visits Asha Alahan (Tanisha Gorey), having just been to see Billy in the chapel of rest. Though she initially seems able to hold it together, she soon breaks, questioning why Billy had to die at all.
With her anger rising, she turns it in the direction of Debbie, who she holds solely responsible for her father-figure’s demise.
Despite Asha’s attempts to stem Summer’s rage, there’s no chance, as she declares that she hopes Debbie rots in prison. Will Summer spiral completely out of control?
