Manhunt after woman sexually assaulted on the District Line

Police want to speak to the man in this photo after a woman was sexually assaulted on the London Underground.

The woman was on the District Line, travelling towards Cannon Street Station when a man sat down beside her and sexually assaulted her.

She moved seats twice to get away but each time he followed her and once again sat down next to her.

The incident happened around 8pm on Monday, December 15,

The British Transport Police (BTP) have released a CCTV photo of a man they believe may have information that could help their investigation.

Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016, or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 683 of 15 December.
