Sophie Turner has said that she is taking a break from dating after things became ‘hectic’.
The 29-year-old star recently split from aristocrat Peregrine ‘Perry’ Pearson, 31, and allegedly had a few dates with Coldplay’s Chris Martin soon afterwards.
Weeks on, she has now said that she is ready for some peace as she is set to turn 30 in February, and wants to put dating on the back burner.
Speaking to Net-A-Porter’s digital title PORTER, Sophie said: ‘I just want to have some peace in my thirties.
‘I feel like it’s been really hectic for a long time, and I’m ready to not have that anymore. Just settle a bit. We’ll see if that happens.’
The star shares children Willa and Daphne with her ex-husband Joe Jonas, who she divorced in 2024.
She revealed that she is plagued by mum-guilt when she isn’t able to spend enough time with her kids, and wants to dedicate her time not to parenting and work.
‘The mum guilt is there forever. I work all week, and then on the weekends, I’ll spend all day with my kids each day. But if I go out for lunch with a friend, I will run back home because my heart is sinking that I’ve left them.’
She added that she hasn’t been on a date in ‘months’ but added that she thinks she will ‘get there’ at some point.
‘I mean, I haven’t seen my friends or I haven’t gone on a date in weeks, months! I just sack off parts of my life sometimes.
‘I only have the capacity for work and family right now. But I’m working on it. I’ll get there.’
Joe and Sophie tied the knot in 2019 before announcing their split in 2023 and finalising their divorce a year later.
Sophie and Perry sparked romance rumours after being spotted at Glastonbury Festival together in 2023, later confirming their relationship in December of the same year.
It was reported by the Daily Mail that Sophie and Chris Martin went on a ‘secret date’ in October 2025.
Details of the date are unknown, and it’s unclear if this was a one-time occasion.
