It’s already a good year for Biscoff fans, as the ‘best ever’ biscuit has launched an exciting new product.

Last year, the cult brand gifted fans with the launch of a Cadbury Dairy Milk Biscoff Block.

There was also a Biscoff Advent calendar, which included a never-before-seen product, and Easter came over four months early in November, with the arrival of Biscoff filled eggs.

And now, eagle-eyed shoppers in Iceland have spotted yet another treat: Biscoff Ice Cream Sandwiches.

Available at Iceland in stores and online from January 3, the new treats feature a thick block of Biscoff flavoured ice cream — complete with crunchy pieces of Biscoff — between two of the OG biscuits.

Available for £4 for four individually wrapped icecreams at Iceland, fans say they’ve also seen them on the shelves of Coop and The Food Warehouse.

Some lucky shoppers have already got their hands on the ice creams, and they’re getting rave reviews.

‘The most delicious sandwiches,’ wrote Falcom Scott, on the New Foods UK Instagram page.

While on Iceland’s Facebook profile, Georgina Charville said they were ‘unreal’, and Wendy Coull said they’re ‘on a different level altogether.’

Over on TikTok, content creator Shivani Khosla, gave them a 10/10, commenting that the ice cream was ‘super fluffy and soft’ with a caramel flavour.

And, even online food reviewer, John’s Snack Reviews, who isn’t known to mince their words, has given the product a 9/10.

Writing on Instagram, they said that the biscuits had a ‘softer crunch’ and added that ‘it’s just pure Biscoff in every bite!!’

An enthusiastic response isn’t always guaranteed from Biscoff fans, who hold the treat close to their hearts.

When the aforementioned Dairy Milk chocolate bar launched, after much hype, some felt it fell flat.

On Facebook, Katie Griffin wrote: ‘Tried it today from a new agents it’s nice can’t taste the Biscoff much though.’

Sam Oakley agreed, writing: ‘Just had it and not worth it.’ They continued to say that they ‘couldn’t really taste the Biscoff’ and were ‘disappointed’.

‘Got it yesterday and can’t really taste the Biscoff not that impressed’, Steph Penny wrote on the social media platform.

A spokesperson for Mondelēz International previously shared further details about other upcoming Biscoff products.

They told Metro: ‘Mondelēz International and Lotus Bakeries are excited to start working together to develop and market co-branded chocolate products in Europe, with potential options to expand into additional markets.

‘While specific formats are still in the early stages of development, we’re aiming to bring new innovations to the chocolate category that will surprise and delight consumers.’
