Muscat – Oman has officially declared its support for the unity and territorial integrity of the Federal Republic of Somalia. In a statement issued by Foreign Ministry on Sunday, the Sultanate emphasised the necessity of upholding international law and the United Nations Charter.
Omani officials expressed their commitment to monitoring regional developments closely, while explicitly cautioning against any unilateral actions that might compromise the internationally recognised borders or sovereignty of the Somali state. This diplomatic stance underscores Oman’s dedication to regional stability and the preservation of national unity among sisterly nations.
