Muscat – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik held an official session of talks on Thursday with the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Al Baraka Palace to discuss the robust bilateral relations between the two friendly nations.
The leaders explored diverse pathways for existing cooperation and sought to broaden the horizons of strategic partnership and investment opportunities to fulfill the future aspirations of both peoples. Following these high-level discussions, which also covered pressing regional and international developments, both leaders witnessed the signing of a Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA). This landmark accord is designed to bolster trade and investment ties by facilitating the seamless movement of goods and services. Furthermore, the agreement aims to drive collaborative efforts in vital sectors including energy, technology, and manufacturing, ensuring mutual prosperity and strengthened diplomatic bonds.
