Barka – Royal Oman Police (ROP) have successfully neutralised a significant narcotics operation following the arrest of an individual in Barka. The operation was spearheaded by the Directorate General for Combating Drugs and Psychotropic Substances.
During the apprehension, officers discovered a substantial cache of illegal substances, which included quantities of hashish, crystal meth, and morphine. Preliminary investigations suggest the individual was holding these narcotics with the explicit intent to traffic them. Following the seizure, the Royal Oman Police confirmed that formal legal proceedings have been initiated against the suspect as part of the nation’s ongoing commitment to curbing the distribution of illicit substances.
