Never-before-seen photographs of paedophile Epstein's fleet of jets which he allegedly used to shuttle teenage girls between his lavish homes were shown to jurors in court as part of the Ghislaine Maxwell sex trafficking case this week.

Women who were allegedly trafficked by Jeffrey Epstein appear in his records of flights to and from UK airports.

A BBC investigation has found that nearly 90 flights linked to the disgraced paedophile arrived at and departed from the UK.

Lawyers representing hundreds of alleged victims in the US told the corporation it was ‘shocking’ that a ‘full-scale UK investigation’ into Jeffrey Epstein has never taken place.

One said the UK was a ‘centrepiece’ of the convicted sex offender’s operations.

The flight logs analysed by the BBC were among thousands of court documents made public over the past year after having been released by Epstein’s estate.

The BBC said it had unearthed 87 flights to and from the UK linked to Epstein between the early 1990s and 2018 – many previously unknown.

One alleged victim, named as Kate in Ghislaine Maxwell’s 2021 child sex-trafficking trial, was listed as having been on 10 flights in and out of UK airports between 1999 and 2006.

These flights were paid for by Epstein.

The victim’s lawyer, Brad Edwards, who is based in Florida, told the BBC his client was never contacted by UK police.

He said ‘three or four’ of his clients are British women who were ‘abused on British soil both by Jeffrey Epstein and others’.

Mr Edwards added that UK victims were trafficked to the US and abused there.

Another US lawyer, Sigrid McCawley, said British authorities have ‘not taken a closer look at those flights, at where he was at, who he was seeing at those moments, and who was with him on those planes, and conducted a full investigation’.

In a statement to the BBC, the Metropolitan Police said it had ‘not received any additional evidence that would support reopening the investigation’.

‘Should new and relevant information be brought to our attention,’ such as material released in the US, ‘we will assess it’, the force said.

The deadline to release US government documents on Epstein is Friday, under the Jeffrey Epstein Transparency Act.

But the flight logs analysed by the BBC were among thousands of documents from court cases and Epstein’s estate released over the past year.

These revealed information about the paedophile’s time in the UK, including trips to royal residences, the corporation said.

Its investigation found that unidentified ‘females’ were among the passengers listed as travelling in and out of the UK.

It also revealed 15 of these flights occurred after Epstein’s conviction in 2008 for soliciting sex from a minor.
