Muscat – Oman has expressed its profound condemnation and strong denunciation of the recent attack targeting innocent civilians on Sydney beach. Following the tragic incident, which regrettably resulted in a number of victims, the Sultanate conveyed its deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to the bereaved families, as well as to the friendly government and people of Australia, whilst wishing the injured a swift recovery.
In a statement issued by Foreign Ministry said that the Sultanate reaffirmed its firm, unyielding stance in condemning violence and terrorism in all its forms and motivations. Oman subsequently renewed its urgent call for the enhancement of coexistence and tolerance among diverse faiths and cultures, stressing the critical importance of fostering international understanding and cooperation in the global effort to combat the persistent scourge of extremism.
