Lucas Hay (Oscar Curtis) contemplates a life away from Hollyoaks village next week, but his anger with dad Ste (Kieron Richardson) over his fling with Dillon Ray (Nathaniel Dass) soon escalates to shock new heights.
Ste, as viewers know, offered to be Dillon’s sponsor after his exploitation ordeal. Dillon was grateful and soon developed romantic feelings for his boyfriend’s dad.
At first, Ste claimed he didn’t reciprocate such feelings but he ultimately acted upon them, sleeping with his son’s partner on a number of occasions.
Dillon subsequently broke up with Lucas, who remained in the dark about the reason why, making it his mission to win back his former flame. The truth, however, exploded in dramatic fashion earlier this month when Lucas laced Ste’s food with drugs and lashed out at Dillon, putting him in hospital.
Realising that Lucas’ violence had gone too far, Ste told the police the truth about how his son had been abusing him for months, which led to Lucas being arrested.
After a short stint in prison, Lucas was released but he soon found himself with no-one to turn to, with Leela Dexter (Kirsty-Leigh Porter) kicking him out.
In upcoming scenes, the teen resolves to go to London for a fresh start and Rex Gallagher (Jonny Labey) offers to help, setting up a bed in the garage for him.
The rest of the village believe Lucas to be missing, unaware that Rex is harbouring him at the garage as he urges the boy to make amends with his father.
Ste, however, isn’t ready to speak to Lucas and urges Rex to keep him at the garage so that he can face the consequences at trial. Little do they know, however, that Lucas is on his way to the hospital, where he manages to sneak in.

Sienna is convinced someone is out to get the Blakes after overhearing something at Jez’s shed. Later, she spots Tinhead’s van and confronts him. But what will he have to say?
Liberty, meanwhile, urges Sienna to talk to Cleo. Cleo reiterates that she loves Sienna but needs her own space, remaining frosty with her.
Seeing Cleo is struggling, Leela reaches out, suggesting she accompany her and Clara to a baby group. At the group, Joseph won’t stop crying and Cleo feels overwhelmed.
At the school, an incident occurs with Ant during detention, which leads to John Paul calling the police. John Paul later attends an addiction support group and reveals that, due to his past abusive relationship with a police man, today’s events proved triggering for him.
Gemma and Vicky refuse to give up on Donny and, knowing he’s still traumatised by what happened in Liverpool, they encourage him to speak to Superintendent Singh. Dodger offers support too, reminding Donny that he understands what he’s been through.
Gemma, meanwhile, devises a plan, introducing Misbah to Sinbad. Donny reconnects with Tinhead and Sinbad in warm scenes at Casa – and he even recreates Mick Johnston’s famous pizza!
Elsewhere, Theresa attempts to be intimate with Dodger, who finds an excuse to leave.
But just what does he intend to do?
The jury is still out, so to speak, on that one but later in the week, Ste comes face-to-face with his son – and he’s terrified.
