Harry Styles has officially announced his fourth album, sending fans into a frenzy.

After planting billboards around the world featuring phrases like ‘we belong together’ and ‘see you very soon,’ the singer has announced that his first album since 2022 will be released on March 6.

He’s also shared the title of the album: Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally.

The retro-looking record cover shows the pop star wearing sunglasses and dancing beneath a disco ball hovering in the night sky.

Styles’ web store has also been updated and now offers packages including vinyl, cassettes, T-shirts, what appears to be an analogue camera, and a bum bag – seems like things are staying very nostalgic and groovy.

We also know the album was produced by Kid Harpoon, the British songwriter and producer who has worked on all of his previous albums.

Fans were quick to share their excitement about the news on social media, with one writing on X: ‘Heaving sobbing throwing up convulsing ripping my hair out passing out dying, hello world HARRY STYLES IS BACK’

Another wrote: ‘WE WILL BE STREAMING’ while someone else warned, ‘I cannot be normal about this do not expect me to.’

The news follows the singer sending a voice note of him singing ‘we belong together’ to fans, via a promotional WhatsApp group, earlier today.

Many are now speculating that this is a hint about the title of the album’s first single.

There’s plenty of pressure on Styles’ fourth album, given that his last release, 2022’s Harry’s House, reached No 1 around the world and was certified triple platinum in the UK with more than 900,000 certified sales.

It also won album of the year at the 2023 Grammy awards and was also named album of the year at the 2023 Brit awards.

As Metro’s Danni Scott previously noted: ‘So here lies Harry’s dilemma: release something that sounds similar to Harry’s House and risk it flopping under the weight of comparison or branch out creatively and risk fans not liking the new sound.

‘Both of these, of course, have the potential upside of a chart-topping album, which — let’s be real — he’s likely to secure, but in the shadow of HS3, he’s undoubtedly feeling the pressure.’

Since his last release, the singer has remained in the headlines for running a marathon in Tokyo and launching Pleasing, his lifestyle brand, among other ventures.

But all of that is over now as Harry undoubtedly prepares to enter the chaotic cycle of album promotion, likely dropping more hints about what we can expect from the album along the way.

So far, it seems Harry is keeping things at least in the realm of his previous work, with the album announcement implying a 70s vibe that isn’t dissimilar from the aesthetic and retro sound of Harry’s House.

As March 6 approaches, make sure to remind the Harry Styles’ fans in your life to take deep breaths and hydrate.
