Muscat – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has conferred Royal orders upon several prominent female figures in recognition of their outstanding contributions and tangible achievements in their respective fields. The prestigious medals were presented by Her Highness the Honourable Lady, Spouse of His Majesty the Sultan, during a ceremony held at Al Barakah Palace. His Majesty bestowed the Royal Commendation Order, Second Class, upon Lujaina Mohsin Darwish, Sayyida Sanaa Hamad al Busaidi, Sheikha Amina Saud Salim Bahwan al Mukhaini, Dr Hanan Abdulaziz al Kindi, Dr Nadia Sulaiman al Kharousi, and Dr Rima Mansoor al Zadjali.
Furthermore, His Majesty granted the Military Order of Oman, Fourth Class, to Colonel Dr Sheikha Ali al Abri and Colonel Dr Azza Hilal al Maawali. The Military Order of Oman, Second Class, was also awarded to Dr Kamla Sulaiman al Kharousi, Dr Badriya Saleh al Farsi, Dr Kawkab Salem al Balushi, Dr Lamees Mohammed Redha bin Hassan, and Civil Officer Suad Nasser al Harbi. These honours serve as a testament to His Majesty’s appreciation for the significant role played by Omani women in the nation’s progress and their exceptional dedication to professional excellence across medical, civil, and social sectors.
