New England Patriots coach Mike Vrabel is not concerned with any narratives suggesting the team is being disrespected or taken lightly ahead of the Super Bowl.

The only thing Vrabel can control is preparing the team to the best of his ability to win the game. That's what he's choosing to focus on ahead of the biggest game of the season.

“However they have to get ready to play the football game, that's all I care about," Vrabel said on The Greg Hill Show. "It doesn’t matter [if we’re being disrespected]. We’re in the Super Bowl. We could pump this thing up for 10 days, and I mean, we're all compensated very well for what we do. So I don't think there's any disrespect from this building or my appreciation for our football team. It doesn’t bother me.”

There have been several attempts to take away from the Patriots' incredible turnaround season.

People have criticized the team for having an "easy" schedule throughout the regular season. They have also pointed to quarterback Justin Herbert's health in the wild-card playoff win over the Los Angeles Chargers and C.J. Stroud's decline in the divisional round victory over the Houston Texans.

As for the AFC Championship win over the Denver Broncos, many are using the weather and Jarrett Stidham starting over Bo Nix as an excuse.

All Vrabel and the Patriots can do is continue to win football teams and let the outsiders debate amongst themselves on the reasons why.
