Tablets are fine, but serious notetakers use this instead

If you're like me and like to put pen to paper to create and ideate without distraction, you probably haven't found an ideal notetaking device yet. Android tablets are fine (and Android e-ink tablets are perhaps even better), iPads are ok (but have limitations when you try to read), and you can even make any tablet feel more like paper with special screen protectors that add a paper-like texture. But these devices are still very distracting as they tempt you to do more with their vivid color screens and unfettered access to social media.
