Talk about getting off to a fast start.
Jake Knapp and Sam Burns were both squarely in the hunt at Pebble Beach heading into Saturday's third round of play at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
Knapp, who opened the day T-8 at 11 under, found himself in the first cut of rough on the opening hole with 130 yards to the stick. He caught the ball cleanly and put a little side magic on it that dropped it right in the cup, pushing him to 13 under.

Not to be outdone, just a few minutes later, Sam Burns had a similar shot from 156 yards away and did the same exact thing.

With his eagle, Burns leapfrogged into the solo lead at 16 under, although Akshay Bhatia pulled even soon after.
The AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am uses two golf courses on the Monterey Peninsula: Pebble Beach Golf Links and Spyglass Hill. All golfers played one round at each on Thursday and Friday before everyone moved to Pebble for the weekend.
