This 1976 Porsche 912E is one of approximately 2,100 produced for a single model year and is finished in Grand Prix White over beige upholstery. It is powered by a 2.0-liter flat-four mated to a five-speed manual transaxle and is equipped with a sunroof, fog lights, an AM/FM/cassette stereo, a MOMO steering wheel, and a heated rear window. The seller purchased the car in 2025, and subsequent work involved re-covering the front seats and replacing the headliner, front brake components, tires, and various engine oil seals. This 912E is now offered with a Porsche Production Specification report, the owner’s manual, service records, spare parts, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.

After the Porsche 914 was discontinued, the 912E was offered for the 1976 model year only as a lower-priced alternative to the 911. This example was finished from the factory in Grand Prix White with a power sunroof and fog lights. The hood lift struts and windshield washer pump were replaced in 2025. The seller notes various paint chips and door dings.

The 16″ Fuchs wheels were refinished in black in 2026, and they were mounted with 205/55 Continental Extreme Contact tires at that time. A space-saver spare is stored in the front trunk. Stopping power is provided by disc brakes at all four corners. The front brake calipers, rotors, and pads were replaced in September 2025. The rear sway bar was noted to be missing during that service. Curb rash is present on the wheels.

The front seats were reupholstered in beige leatherette and a replacement headliner was installed under current ownership. A Pioneer cassette stereo is fitted in the stock location.

The three-spoke MOMO steering wheel fronts VDO instrumentation that consists of a centrally mounted tachometer, a 150-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and gauges for fuel level and oil temperature. The speedometer was repaired and the speedometer sensor replaced in 2005. The six-digit odometer shows 195k miles, approximately 200 of which were added under current ownership.

The 2.0-liter flat-four features Bosch L-Jetronic fuel injection and was factory rated at 86 horsepower and 98 lb-ft of torque. A valve adjustment was performed and the fuel injectors replaced in 2022, and the distributor cap and rotor were replaced in 2024. A replacement battery was installed in 2025, and the valve cover gaskets, rear main seal, oil pump seal, and oil breather hoses and seals were replaced in 2026. An oil leak is noted from a cylinder head stud.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Type 923 five-speed manual transaxle. The stock thermal reactors were installed in place of headers in 2020, and an exhaust leak was repaired in September 2025.

The Porsche Production Specifications certificate lists the factory colors and optional equipment.

The car last passed  a California emissions test in September 2025.
