This 1968 Ford Bronco was acquired by the seller in 1996 as a shell and a frame, and it was rebuilt and modified over the next two years. Power is provided by a 5.0-liter V8 linked with a C4 three-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case, and further equipment includes a Dana 44 front axle, a Ford 9″ rear end, a Trac-Lok limited-slip differential, manually locking front hubs, front disc brakes, power steering, and a suspension lift kit with Rancho shocks. The body is finished in green over a gray cloth interior, and additional features include 15″ Alcoa wheels, a fiberglass hood, a bikini soft top, a roll cage, tubular bumpers, a swing-away tire carrier, and two Honda Civic-sourced bucket seats. This Bronco is now offered with the owner’s manual, service records, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.

The body is painted green, and it was refreshed in 2019. Features include a fiberglass hood with a simulated scoop and hood pins as well as a bikini soft top, a roll cage, tubular bumpers, a front bull bar, a swing-away tire carrier, and fender flares. The seller tells us that an accident in 2003 resulted in a dent in the left rocker panel. Additional imperfections include a crack in the hood, paint chips, and areas of corrosion. Detailed photos of the exterior, including imperfections, are provided in the gallery. The seller also notes that the wiper arms and their housing require replacement.

The 15″ Alcoa wheels are wrapped in 33×12 50″ Bridgestone Dueler A/T tires. The truck rides on a lifted suspension with Rancho shocks and a dual front shock setup. It is equipped with manually locking front hubs, power steering, and power-assisted front discs and rear drums. A radius arm drop kit was installed, and the tie rods were replaced in 2022. The track rod was replaced in August 2024, and the front brake calipers, rotors, and pads were replaced in September 2024.

The cabin features two bucket seats trimmed in gray cloth, which were reportedly sourced from a Honda Civic DX. Additional interior details include a heater, locking center console storage, and black carpeting. The driver’s window regulator was replaced in April 2022.

Instrumentation includes a 100-mph speedometer encircled by auxiliary gauges for voltage, fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. An auxiliary gauge pod mounted to the underside of the dashboard includes gauges measuring voltage, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 54k miles, approximately 25k of which were added under current ownership.

The 5.0-liter V8 was said to have been sourced from a 1989 Mustang 5.0, and it was installed in 1997. The seller notes an intermittent starting issue beginning in 2021, which has resulted in the replacement of ignition modules in 2021 and the starter in 2024, but it has not been resolved. A video demonstrating the issue has been provided in the gallery. The seller also notes an exhaust leak, which is believed to originate from the muffler.

Power is sent through a C4 three-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The truck is further equipped with a Dana 44 front axle and a Ford 9″ rear end with a Trac-Lok differential. The transmission was overhauled in August 2018, and the seller notes a whining noise when shifting into third and a rough shift into reverse. A video demonstrating the issue has been provided in the gallery. Various underside components show signs of corrosion.

The truck is titled in California using the VIN U15NLD30319 on the California BAR label shown above,
