One of the highest-grossing movies of all time, and the highest-grossing video game movie of all time, is now officially available to watch on Peacock.

What high-grossing video game movie is on Peacock today?

2023’s The Super Mario Bros. Movie is officially back on Peacock yet again, after leaving the streaming platform briefly last year. The movie originally debuted on Peacock in 2023, but moved off the streaming platform due to likely licensing issues.

Now, though, it’s back, and fans can check out the movie yet again. The film featured the voices of its all-star cast including Chris Pratt as Mario, Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach, Charlie Day as Luigi, Jack Black as Bowser, Keegan-Michael Key as Toad, Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong, Fred Armisen as Cranky Kong, Kevin Michael Richardson as Kamek and Sebastian Maniscalco as Spike.

The Super Mario Bros. Movie was directed by Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic (Teen Titans Go!) from a screenplay written by Minions: The Rise of Gru scribe Matthew Fogel. It was produced by Chris Meledandri for Illumination and Shigeru Miyamoto for Nintendo.

Despite receiving mixed reception from critics, the adaptation still became one of the most successful movies of all time. The movie grossed more than $1.3 billion, and is the highest-grossing video game movie of all time, and the only one to clear $1 billion at the box office.

A sequel, The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, is set to release on April 1, 2026.
