Emergency services have been at the station since 9am over reports of a ‘person in a precarious position’ at the central London station.
He held up a banner reading: ‘Prime Minister of the UK, the Islamic Republic killed over 440,000 people in just two days.
‘This regime has no legitimacy, expel its diplomats. Uphold democracy.’
Footage shows him wearing black clothing carrying the large banner up to the top of the brick building.
But now new images have shown him being handcuffed and led away by a group of police officers.
British Transport Police said: ‘Officers were called to Kings Cross railway station at around 8.30am todayfollowing reports of a person in a precarious position.
‘Officers attended alongside other emergency services, and a man was safely removed from the position and arrested on suspicion of causing a public nuisance.
‘He has been taken into custody.’
The London Fire Brigade supplied a 32-metre turntable ladder to help bring the man down.
