Zendaya has gotten candid about her relationship with fellow actor Tom Holland. The A-list power couple have been together for five years, after being romantically linked back in 2021. By 2024, the pair were engaged, and now split their time between Richmond, West London, and California – but, in general, the pair keep their private lives closely guarded. (Picture: Getty Images)
In a recent interview with the Daily Mirror, the Euphoria star gushed about how her fiancé is ‘not only [her] favourite person,’ but he’s also her ‘favourite person to work with.’ Zendaya continued to share her love for the star, explaining that while many people ‘might think it’s awkward’ to work with your partner, Tom has a ‘huge calming presence’ on set. She added it puts herself at ease, as well as ‘everybody he works with.’ (Picture: Getty Images)
In addition to their working relationship, the 29-year-old shared some insight into their personal lives. Both Zendaya and Tom have always been very private about their romance, keen to keep that part of their lives away from the spotlight. However, she told the outlet that ‘neither of [them] want to hide and not live [their] lives and do normal things, like go out for dinner.’ (Picture: Getty Images)
But at the same time, the star says they’re both keen to balance it in a bid to ‘protect [their] privacy.’ ‘You have to accept that to a degree, some aspects of your privacy are going to be out of your control. But the parts that are in our control, we fiercely protect,’ Zendaya continued. (Picture: Getty Images)
As for their living arrangements, Zendaya revealed that the UK can’t be their ‘permanent home right now’ due to so much of the couple’s work being in Los Angeles. But, she did acknowledge that England does ‘feel like home’ to her. (Picture: Getty Images)
‘When I go to the UK, I don’t feel like a visitor anymore. I understand British slang, I get the culture, and I know a nice cup of tea makes everything right. It really feels like coming home, and I love the people,’ she shared. Zendaya then joked that, among the things she loves about the UK, she ‘will never understand the fascination with Jaffa Cakes’, adding: ‘They just don’t make sense to me.’ (Picture: Getty Images)
Zendaya and Tom are teaming up professionally this year, again. The pair are set to star in Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, an epic fantasy action film based on Homer’s ancient Greek epic the Odyssey. The film is scheduled for cinema release on July 17. Elsewhere, the couple are returning to their roots, having completed the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day, set for release July 31. (Picture: Getty Images)Add as preferred source
