West Bengal in 2025: a year of religious polarisation

If year 2024 was the year of the protests over the gruesome rape and murder of a doctor at Kolkata’s R.G. Kar Medical College, the year 2025 saw an increase in politics of polarisation with construction of a temple, foundation stone for a mosque, and communal riots in Murshidabad
