Former Chief Economic Adviser to the Government of India Arvind Subramanian discusses the themes of his book A Sixth of Humanity: India’s Development Odyssey. Co-author Devesh Kapur, Professor at Johns Hopkins University, adds that the book examines how inequality has evolved across India’s major social cleavages, including gender, religion and region.
