Vizhinjam ward election held

The ward witnessed 66.97% polling, with 8,912 out of the 13,307 voters casting their votes. If BJP wins, it will secure the simple majority figure of 51 in the 101-ward Corporation. The election also holds strategic importance for the LDF and the UDF, both of which aim to bolster their representation in standing committees.
