Two people rushed to hospital after Adelaide shooting, gunman still on the run

Two people have been rushed to hospital after an early morning shooting in Adelaide's south.

Police believe the attack on a Huntfield Heights home was not random and are still seeking to find the person responsible.

The shooting happened before 6.40am today, with police arriving to a home on Lindisfarne Road.

Police searched the house extensively this morning as they look to find the gunman.

When they arrived, they found two people who had been shot.

They were treated at the scene by paramedics before being rushed to hospital.

Dogs were used during the search.

Their injuries are not life-threatening.

Police remain at the house investigating the incident, and said they would release more information on the shooting when it becomes available.

Investigators and police dogs were seen extensively searching the house this morning, and searching in cars and bins on and near the property.
