During his end-of-season press conference, Philadelphia general manager Howie Roseman offered insight into the Eagles' roster-building process, what takes place, and how the pendulum will swing toward the defense in 2026 and beyond. Dallas Goedert, Nakobe Dean, Reed Blankenship, Jaelan Phillips, Adoree' Jackson, Marcus Epps, Fred Johnson, Brandon Graham, and Jahan Dotson are among 20 free agents who'll hit the open market.  Dean and Phillips are the only two who hold priority, and both could depart for lucrative deals depending on the market.

Still, Jalen Carter, Nolan Smith, Jordan Davis, Moro Ojomo, and others are just a few elite defenders GM Howie Roseman wants to keep around long term.

A current look via Over The Cap shows the Eagles have $10,475,126 available to roll over to 2026 and $44 million in dead cap space, while the Titans, Chargers, and Raiders all have over $80 million in total cap space for March.

Decisions will be made in the coming weeks, and with the Super Bowl on the horizon, we're taking a look at the 56 players currently under contract.

Jalen Hurts: $31,971,800

Tanner McKee: $1,191,630

At an average annual salary of $51 million a year, Hurts is the first NFL quarterback to make over $50 million in a season and win the Super Bowl. The previous record was held by Patrick Mahomes. The Eagles quarterback is entering the third year of the five-year, $255 million deal he signed prior to the 2023 season, and his $51.5 million salary is guaranteed for 2026 as he'll count $31,971,800 against the cap with a September 1 option bonus looming. This season will be the final year of guaranteed money, and his cap hit will rise to $42,132,800 in 2027 and $47,541,000 in 2028, according to Over The Cap.
