The Traitors star Judy Wilson has created another moment of TV magic after announcing her daughter (and co-star) Roxy is pregnant.

The mother-daughter duo cemented themselves as fan-favourites after delivering one of the first twists of the new season – that they were, in fact, related, and keeping it a secret from everyone else in the castle.

Although Judy bowed out early on after a devastating banishment, she has remained a fan-favourite throughout and is now rooting for her daughter to make it all the way to the firepit.

Now, in another real-life twist, while appearing on ITV chat show This Morning, Judy delivered the joyous news that she was going to be a grandma again after announcing Roxy, 32, is expecting her first child.

‘Can I just say – our Roxy is having a baby!’ she told presenters Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard.

This will be Judy’s 12th grandchild, due in June. Cat quipped: ‘She’s got a football team’ while Ben added: ‘She’s got a sub!’ as Judy accepted everyone’s well-wishes.

She snapped a photo of her baby scan hanging on an illuminated Christmas tree, with the words: ‘No caption can explain this feeling, the best by far is yet to come.’

After raising suspicion among the other contestants, the child liaison officer from Doncaster was the first to be banished after a tense roundtable in which her daughter made a last-ditch attempt to defend her.

Although Roxy still hasn’t revealed to the rest of the cast that Judy was, in fact, her mum, the audience thinks there could be yet more secrets at play.

With the Secret Traitors reveal just around the corner, some fans think that Roxy is playing the long game and may uncloak herself as the dastardly stirrer.

Meanwhile, others believe Judy and Roxy’s link isn’t the only under-the-radar connection in the castle.

Although Judy was banished first, she still has plenty of theories (Picture: BBC/Studio Lambert/Euan Cherry)

In fact, Judy herself told Metro that she believes Masz and Faraaz are a secret father-and-son duo that have so far remained unsuspected.

‘Are they son and dad? We kept thinking that,’ she admitted.

Contemplating the other theory that Ellie and Ross know each other in real life (one compounded by photos found online), Judy was less convinced.

‘Ellie is quite quiet and if you saw the bit when we’re in the kitchen, that’s the first time I actually spoke to her, but she’s quite quiet, whereas Ross is very out there and quite bubbly, so I didn’t connect that at all,’ she said.

The Traitors returns tonight at 8pm on BBC One.
