While in London promoting his movie, Timothee made the surprising revelation that he considers Susan to be one of Britain’s all-time greats.

Naturally, the Britain’s Got Talent icon was incredibly touched, and the internet immediately became obsessed with them as a duo.

So, given how highly he thinks of Susan, it’s understandable why she’d now have one in her wardrobe too.

Posing proudly in her blue jacket and smiling, Susan told the BBC: ‘Thanks so much for the kind words once again, Timothee.

‘All the very best for the film; looking forward to seeing it on Boxing Day, and thanks for the jacket – it fits like a glove!’

Fans have been going wild over the interaction between the I Dreamed A Dream hitmaker and the Dune Hollywood actor, declaring them an ‘adorable’ pair of pals.

It comes after the singer took to social media to share how ‘incredibly touching’ it was to be recognised by Timothee in the first place, adding she was ‘very flattered’.

Susan wrote: ‘Those early days were quite something, and to know that moment meant something to you all these years on truly humbles me.

‘We all start somewhere, with a dream and a bit of hope, don’t we?  We should all dream big! I wish you every success as you continue to dream your own dream.’

She went on to thank the New York native for his ‘kindness’ and ‘for remembering that moment so fondly’.

The talent show queen was in good company, as he told the BBC in the original interview that Lewis Hamilton, Sir David and Victoria Beckham also topped his ‘greats’ list.

He then added ‘Fakemink,’ a London rapper who recently teamed up with EsDeeKid (an anonymous Liverpool drill artist who many have long speculated is Timothee).

Timothee said Susan would be his final selection, having risen to fame in 2009 when she stunned the world with her vocal talents.

‘She dreamt bigger than all of us,’ he explained, unironically.

ITV s hit entertainment show, Britain s Got Talent returns for a third year following an incredible series which saw over 14 million viewers tune in to see George Sampson crowned the 2008 winner. Hosted by Ant and Dec, with Simon Cowell, Piers Morgan and Amanda Holden on the judging panel, the show once again travels the length and breadth of the UK in search of Britain s best talent. The Judge s quest is to find Britain s top talent and the only rule is that there are no rules! The show is open to any performer, any age, from any background, with any talent. All they need is a talent that they think will impress not only the Judges, but ultimately Her Majesty the Queen, as the winner gets to perform at this year s Royal Variety Performance, as well as walking away with a life changing 100k. Audiences should prepare to be thoroughly entertained by a wealth of wonderful, wacky and often plain weird acts. ‘Who wasn’t moved by that?’, he said, referencing the viral clip of the singer singing the classic ballad from Les Misérables, which ultimately saw her place second to dance troupe Diversity in the BGT final.

‘I remember that like it was yesterday,’ he said. ‘That was like the advent of YouTube, you know.’

The video was released nearly 20 years ago now, receiving over 10million views at the time.

Despite coming second in Simon Cowell’s ITV competition, Susan certainly didn’t do too badly out of BGT, going on to sell 25m records worldwide.

She even made UK music history in 2011 by becoming the first female artist to achieve three successive number one albums in under two years.

In more recent years, the Scottish singer has taken a step back from the limelight and has not released an album since 2016’s A Wonderful World. But in May 2025, Susan announced on Instagram that she had returned to the recording studio for the first time in six years.

In the BBC interview, he also insisted that his new film was guaranteed to entertain.

‘This is an original film at a time when a lot of original films aren’t made.
