Smart bulk meters to curb water loss and enable real-time monitoring of city’s supply

Once the bulk metering project is completed, Chennai Metrowater will be able to precisely identify water loss, track consumption and monitor drawal and distribution on real-time basis; a total of 277 electromagnetic flow meters have been installed in pipelines at various places in the city
