Our students gain valuable, real-world skills through over 700 hours of training in diverse areas such as behavioral health, acute care, and maternal health—ensuring they are well-prepared for any challenge.

At Pace, learning doesn’t stop in the classroom. Our state-of-the-art simulation labs, including the Center for Excellence in Healthcare Simulation, offer immersive opportunities to practice fundamental and high-fidelity nursing skills. Using advanced tools like task trainers and standardized patients, you’ll be ready to handle any clinical situation with confidence, building the expertise employers highly value.

Curriculum

In our program, students complete more than 700 hours of clinical training in a variety of areas, such as behavioral health, maternal and women’s health, pediatrics, acute, chronic, and critical care.

In the final semester, students complete a capstone experience in a unique one-to-one preceptorship with a working registered nurse. This final preceptorship may occur in one of many specialties, including emergency department, intensive or neonatal intensive care, oncology, pediatrics, operating room, and many more.
