Notre Dame’s new DL coach Charlie Partridge visits 2027 recruit for the second time in a week
It’s becoming pretty clear who is at the top of Notre Dame football’s 2027 recruiting board at defensive end, California’s Montana Toilolo.
On Friday of last week, head coach Marcus Freeman and “new” linebackers coach Al Washington made an in-home visit to see the 6-foot, 3-inch and 260-pound lineman. On Monday it was new defensive line coach Charlie Partridge and analyst Nick Sebastian making the trip.
While Toilolo is ranked as the No. 536 overall prospect in the 247Sports Composite, you have to trust Notre Dame’s player evaluations.
The Irish have done a great job in identifying players who are flying under the radar, and that could be the case with Toilolo. It’s going to be tough to pull him from the West Coast, but if there’s a team that can do it, it’s Notre Dame.
