New Year 2026: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted dense to very dense fog over Delhi during the morning hours of first day of January 1. The weather agency also said that parts of the national capital can experience light rainfall on the first day of the new year. The fog conditions in the national capital may persist till January 5, 2026.Also Read- New Year's eve liveIMD has warned of fairly widespread to widespread heavy rainfall and snowfall over areas of Jammu-Kashmir-Ladakh-Gilgit-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad on January 1. Parts of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand may also receive light to moderate level of rainfall and snowfall between December 31 2025 - January 2, 2026.
