Government has significantly reduced NEET-PG cut-offs to fill over 9,000 vacant medical postgraduate seats. Percentiles for general, EWS, SC, ST, and OBC candidates have been lowered, some to zero. This move aims to prevent wastage of training capacity amidst a doctor shortage and follows a plea from the Indian Medical Association.
NEET-PG cut-off score now fixed at -40 out of 800
