A man has been arrested after another man was fatally assaulted at a home in Melbourne's south-east.
Emergency services were called to reports of an alleged serious assault at a home in Warrigal Road in Cheltenham just before 10pm.
A 27-year-old Berwick man was declared dead at the scene.

A 28-year-old man was arrested and remains in police custody.
Police allege the two men were known to each other.
Homicide Squad detectives are analysing the crime scene.
