Libya's army chief, Lt Gen Mohamed Al-Haddad, and four others died in a plane crash returning from an official visit to Turkey. The Falcon 50 business jet lost contact shortly after departing Ankara, having declared an electrical emergency. Turkish authorities are investigating the tragic accident.
