Muscat – Giorgia Meloni, Prime Minister of the Italian Republic, arrived in Oman on Wednesday for a high-level official visit. Upon her arrival, the Prime Minister was accorded a formal reception, marking the commencement of a visit aimed at strengthening the long-standing bilateral relations between the two friendly nations.
During her stay, Prime Minister Meloni is scheduled to hold official talks with His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik. The discussions are expected to focus on enhancing cooperation across various strategic sectors, including energy, investment, and culture, while also addressing key regional and international developments of mutual interest. This visit underscores the shared commitment of Muscat and Rome to deepening their diplomatic partnership and exploring new avenues for economic growth in alignment with Oman Vision 2040.
