Fans have been left devastated after their ‘endgame’ couple, Olivia Rodrigo and Louis Partridge, have reportedly split.
The Traitor singer, 22, was seen going solo at friend and pop icon Lily Allen’s Christmas party in London last week.
Lily hosted a festive bash at strip club Stringfellows, wearing a Santa-style gown and silky slip as she posed with Olivia, who was in an understated black lace dress.
Their friendship first began publicly when the West End Girl singer appeared on stage at Glastonbury 2022 alongside the then-rising star.
Olivia was apparently a little emotional at the party as she spoke about the end of her two-year relationship with House of Guinness actor, Louis.
‘They made such a lovely couple so people who know them were shocked when they heard,’ a source told The Sun.
The insider said it had not been the ‘easiest few weeks’ for the young couple, leading them to decide to ‘be apart for now’.
‘Olivia was at Lily’s party and emotional when she was talking about it,’ they added. ‘Her friends have rallied around her but it’s just been pretty rough. It’s really sad right now.’
Neither Olivia nor Louis, 22, has confirmed the split publicly, and Metro has reached out for comment.
How did Olivia Rodrigo and Louis Patridge meet?
Love blossomed in 2023 when Olivia joined friend Conan Grey at a Halloween bash in London.
They were snapped engaging in some serious PDA with a source later confirming the pair were ‘inseparable’.
A source told The Sun at the time that they had been out for dinners together, to the club and were ‘ acting very couple-y’ the whole trip.
By December, Louis was spotted in the crowd — with all Olivia’s friends — to watch her perform at Jingle Bell Ball in New York.
That same month, the pair were photographed sharing a smooch at a petrol station but didn’t go official until August 2024.
Their first official event was at the Venice Film Festival for Louis’ premiere of Apple TV series Disclaimer.
From here, the couple remained fairly private but did do a cute holiday photo drop when Louis joined Olivia in Manila during her world tour.
Earlier this year, they attended the Grammys and Wimbledon together, looking as loved up as ever with no hints of any trouble.
Even while posing separately at the Academy Music Gala in October, they stole glances at each other, seeming totally at ease.
Reports of their split have come as a shock to fans who initially refused to believe the rumours when they were first speculated on gossip account deuxmoi.
What has Olivia Rodrigo said about Louis Patridge?
Over the years, Olivia has let her songs speak for her rather than sharing details of her love life in interviews.
Her song So American from her GUTS Spilled deluxe album appears to have been about Louis, with lyrics poking fun at cultural differences.
She sings about ‘driving on the right-side road’, a nod to the UK, and declares she’s ‘gonna marry him’ if he ‘keeps this up’.
Many fans have speculated that her third album would feature more songs about Louis, as they had not begun dating when she recorded Guts.
Olivia has hinted at her next album, teasing to Nylon that ‘2026 is going to be a busy year’ but never announcing clear plans.
In one rare statement on Louis, Olivia urged her fans to watch House of Guinness with a snap of him drinking a pint on her Instagram story.
‘House of Guinness is now on Netflix,’ she wrote. ‘It’s so great and Louis is amazing in it. Give it a watch, u won’t regret!!’
What has Louis Patridge said about Olivia Rodrigo?
Throughout their relationship, the pair were intentionally private but did share the odd moment as they celebrated each other’s wins.
‘I’m very happy,’ Louis told Variety in September. ‘And I think she is too, so all is good in our world.’
When Olivia took her historic slot as Glastonbury headliner, performing with Robert Smith of The Cure no less, her doting boyfriend praised her on Instagram.
‘I hope you caught Olivia’s show last night. A truly special performance on such a huge scale,’ he wrote. ‘She worked her ass off for it and couldn’t be more deserving of all her success and for the great crowd that was watching.’
Teasing her (so) American accent, he added the hashtag ‘glastonberry’ and said ‘What a moment’.
Fans have since returned to this post in the wake of the break-up, with frncscsnt writing ‘They were my endgame’, which gained thousands of likes.
While speaking to Esquire a few months ago, Louis said there was a ‘sanctity to being private’ as their lives continued to be chaotic and public.
‘It was pretty damn special to be there and see her get her flowers, as it were,’ he shared.
However, when speaking to Vogue about their relationship in March 2024, he admitted that ‘Dating probably shouldn’t be done in the public eye’.
Louis acknowledged that there’s ‘tons and tons’ of people watching Olivia’s every move so she has it ‘a lot worse’ than him.
‘There’s enough going on between two people,’ he explained. ‘You don’t need the voices of thousands of others in your head.’
