As another wild year in the world of celebrities draws to a close, it’s time to take stock and prepare ourselves for what’s ahead in 2026 – and if Sabrina Kennedy is to be believed, it’s going to be an explosive year.
Psychic musician Sabrina, 30, who was born near Salem in Massachusetts and now lives in the UK, doesn’t take clients nowadays and rarely does readings, but made an exception for Metro to see us into the New Year.
‘At one point, being a psychic was my job, and it’s not something I’d put on anyone. It’s tremendously difficult energetically. I’m so grateful I have these gifts, but it can also be a curse,’ she explains.
Now Sabrina is focusing on her music career, through which she’s encountered many celebrities, counting Courtney Love and the late Liam Payne, among her close friends.
‘I was really close with Liam and we would talk about all of this stuff. I would do that work with him. He was someone who understood it. My friends understand. My family understands. Sometimes I don’t understand it,’ she says.
Given her reluctance to tap into her gift, I was fortunate to get a mini-reading from Sabrina during our chat, in which she described my life back to me with scary accuracy and predicted something in 2026 that I’ve been wanting for a long time. Gulp.
But enough about us. From the Beckham feud to Katie Price’s renaissance, here is what’s in store for 2026 in the world of celebrity.
‘Justice is going to come full circle in 2026’
While the Epstein files are going to continue to shock into 2026, new controversies will crop up – and they’re going to be jaw-dropping.
‘There’s going to be a lot of – as difficult as this is to say – people of power, both in media, politics, everything and celebrities, are going to start to be exposed for their s*****y behaviour,’ Sabrina says.
‘2026 is a year where the controversies are going to be so next level. I can’t pinpoint one single controversy, but I will tell you, the masks are coming off.
‘We saw a bit of it in 2025 but anyone that got away with anything in past years, it’s going to come to light in 2026.
‘I’m not saying primarily the Me Too movement. I’m saying, people in power are going to get called out, and it’s going to be the year the world is shaken by controversies on a global level.
‘Justice is going to come full circle. So anyone that’s not good on the karmic wheel is going to have to pray for themselves, because it’s going to be really, really next level when it comes to headlines.’
‘Katie Price is going to surprise us all ‘
‘There’s a lot of trauma there,’ Sabrina says, channelling the mother-of-five’s energy, which this year has seen her look back and reflect, while her exes have spoken out against her in dramatic fashion.
‘I really do think it’s the year that she cleans up her image, but not in a way that she needs to be this clean girl, or that she can’t embrace her mess or who she is.
‘It’s the year that she finds herself as a woman. It’s the year that she goes, “You know what? Actually, I’m done with people’s opinions.” Because she may say that she doesn’t care, but deep down, there’s moments at night where I see her crying herself to sleep.’
While Katie has never felt ‘safe’ in herself, in 2026, she will for the first time in years.
‘We’re going to see her taking on more roles that may be a little bit more serious. I also see her cutting back on the cosmetics, maybe even going back to how she was looking when she first started before the plastic surgery,’ Sabrina says.
‘I see it’s the year of her taking off in a way that is going to drastically surprise all of us.’
‘The One Direction boys are stirring’
‘There’s going to be something stirring with One Direction,’ says Sabrina.
‘It’s going to be a year that those boys really lean on each other. They’re all collectively going to really come out with strong music, strong things that they’re doing.
‘I feel like since Liam died, all of them have been in the background. I see a really big resurgence with those boys. I just have them coming up.’
While Louis Tomlinson has dropped new music this year, it’s been a quiet time for Harry Styles, who has kept his head down since Payne’s death in October last year.
Meanwhile, Zayn Malik announced a Vegas residency for 2026, and Niall Horan has announced his fourth album will be dropping next year, too.
‘Gwyneth Paltrow shall return’
While older female actresses have historically been criminally overlooked in the film and TV industry, 2026 is going to see a resurgence of some iconic Hollywood faces.
‘There’s going to be a resurgence of older female actresses,’ Sabrina says. ’40 is going to be the new 21.’
‘Demi Moore, Kate Winslet, Cameron Diaz, all of these actresses that were like peak 90s and 2000s are going to be like, “No, f*** you. We’re coming back and we’re hot as f**k.”
‘I would say I’m getting Gwyneth Paltrow for some reason. She took a break from acting, and I recently saw her in the Marty Supreme movie with Timothée Chalamet.
‘I know she went through her wellness era, but she is going to come back stronger as an actress.’
‘Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner will not last’
‘I don’t honestly see that lasting,’ Sabrina says of the unexpected couple, who first sparked dating rumours in 2023.
‘Any man that gets with the Kardashians is just genuinely cursed. I mean, if you look down the track record, they’ve all ended up on the very dark end of life.
‘I hope Timothée watches himself, but there’s just an energetic curse with the Kardashians, in my opinion. But for that level of fame, you sell your soul a little bit. So I hope no one else gets with the Kardashians.’
Perhaps unfortunately, then, Kim is going to come out of the woodworks with a surprise partner in 2026.
‘I really do feel Kim Kardashian is going to bring someone to the forefront that she’s been seeing and it’s going to shock us all. It’s not going to be her usual type,’ Sabrina says.
‘Celebrities are going to date normal people – and exes’
‘We’re going to see a lot more celebrities getting with normal people,’ says Sabrina.
‘I think we’ve already seen a bit of it with Lana Del Rey with her husband. But we’re really going to start seeing celebrities going, “Actually, do I want to be with a deranged, psychotic actor who’s in his feelings all the time? Do I want to be with a musician that’s snorting drugs all the time? No, I want to be with a builder or a normal person.”‘
Given 2025 was the year of the snake, divorces, breakups and shredding were on the cards, 2026 could be a year of people getting back with their exes.
‘People have gotten rid of what’s no longer serving them, and they’re in a space now where they’re like actually, can I revisit that relationship?’
‘Love is not in the air between Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau’
‘There’s a part of Justin Trudeau that has always wanted to be a big celebrity,’ Sabrina says of the Teenage Dream hitmaker and former Canadian Prime Minister’s unlikely romance.
‘The draw to someone like Katy Perry is he loves getting photographed. He loves women looking at him. Justin loves being in the limelight. It’s a very ego-based relationship.’
Sabrina gives their blossoming romance ‘six to eight months’ before they call it quits.
‘I really don’t see it lasting, because I also feel as though there’s some underlying media campaign going on in there,’ she says. ‘There’s some idea that they’re bridging the gap between celebrity and politics, which is a tale as old as time, but it’s very ego-based.
‘I don’t feel there’s much love in that relationship.’
‘The Beckham family’s energy is one of disgust and betrayal’
It’s been a tough year for the Beckham family, as eldest child Brooklyn has visibly distanced himself from his parents and siblings, with an ongoing feud plaguing their internal relationships.
Sabrina doesn’t fully need her abilities to answer this one, as she spent time around Notting Hill mingling in circles close to family members.
‘I frequented that crowd,’ Sabrina says, explaining: ‘I know – and I feel also intuitively – there is a lot of animosity in that family. It’s not just from the headlines.
‘There is a genuine energy of disgust, of betrayal, of like this impending gap that’s just going to go on. Because what I see in this relationship is quite a bit of isolation on her end. I really see that the gap is going to get thicker, and there are a lot of truths that will come out about a lot of that.’
The feud stems from tension between Nicola Peltz Beckham and Victoria Beckham, Sabrina explains, perhaps nodding to the two womens’ wedding dress drama, which was thought to have sparked the rift in 2023.
‘In all honesty, I feel he goes to events by himself if he’s not with her, but she’s actually quite the controlling one in the relationship. But I don’t see that getting any better,’ she says.
